America’s health care system has been a contentious topic for a while now, and in this radio interview on the NPR affiliate in Phoenix, KJZZ, Dr. Denis Cortese argues one of the key elements to fixing what needs fixing is leadership. Dr. Cortese is a retired physician; he served as president and CEO of the Mayo Clinic and is currently director of the Health Care Delivery and Policy Program at ASU. He is also co-author of a new book, Rescuing Healthcare: A Leadership Prescription to Make Healthcare What We All Want It to Be.
